Launch AccountMate Enterprise

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

When you launch the AccountMate program, the system first displays the AccountMate Enterprise Login window before it displays the AccountMate Enterprise main screen to ensure that only authorized users can access the AccountMate program.

If you are currently accessing the AccountMate Enterprise program and you want to change the active user for the current workstation, click the Switch User icon in the System Bar to display the AccountMate Enterprise Login window. Entering a different user name and password automatically logs out the previous user in the current workstation.

If you have installed the license file, the AccountMate Login window displays your company address, and company name as the licensee of the AccountMate software. It will also show the expiration date of your company's maintenance plan with AccountMate. If the license file is not installed, this window displays the software's expiration date.

Be sure to select 'Run as Administrator' option each time you launch AccountMate Enterprise.

In the AccountMate Enterprise Login window, perform the following steps:

1.Enter in the User Name field your assigned user name. The system displays a default user name that belongs to the user who last logged into AccountMate Enterprise from your workstation.

2.Enter your login password in the Password field.

3.Click the OK button to log into AccountMate Enterprise; otherwise, click the [X] button on the upper right-hand corner of the login window to quit.

If you entered an invalid user name and/or incorrect password and clicked the OK button, you will encounter an error message.

If you have entered a valid user name and correct password, the system will then display the AccountMate Enterprise main window. You can now access the company’s modules and functions for which you are granted access rights.

If the Multi-Factor Authentication feature is activated in the system and set as mandatory, the Multi-Factor Authentication Setup window will display after you have entered a valid user name and password. Enter in this window the email address you registered to receive the 6-digit verification code. Click the OK button to proceed; otherwise, click Cancel.
