Customer Activity Listing

The Customer Activity Listing provides information about the customers' activities including each customer transaction's date and time, type, status, contact person, description, and whether there is an attachment to the transaction.

 

This report has the following use:

 

To easily track the activities involving each customer

To determine how often the customer transacts with your company

To aid in making decisions that may involve granting of customer discounts or getting into a special arrangement with the customers    

 

 

To generate the Customer Activity Listing, perform the following steps:

 

1.Access the Customer Activity Listing function from the Activity Listings group under the Reports main menu.

 

2.Click the List box button next to the Configuration field; then, select the report configuration that you want to use.

 

3.Select the report sorting option by clicking the List box button next to the Sort By field.

 

4.In the Layout field, click the List box button to select the report layout you want to use in generating the report.

 

5.In the Report Configuration area, define the desired report filters. Mark the Individual Customer # checkbox if you want to generate the report for a single customer and enter the appropriate value in the adjacent field; otherwise, select in the Filters area the desired criteria in generating the report.

 

6.Mark all or any of the following checkboxes to filter the customer activities that you want to include in the report by transaction types:

 

None

Sales Order/Quote

AR Invoice

RMA

 

7.Mark the Show Activity Remark checkbox if you want to display the remarks for each activity.

 

8.Click the Preview or Print button to preview or print the report. Click the Configure tab to return to the report configuration page.

 

 

The Customer Activity Listing function also provides you with flexibility to perform the following:

 

Set up user-defined report macro

Set up user-defined sort option

Set up user-defined report layout

Include notes in the printed report

Export the report to various supported file formats

Send the report as attachment to an email

Include time and printed by information

Drill-down on certain fields in the report:

oCustomer #

AccountMate displays the Customer Profile when you double-click a customer number in the report.
