The Activity Type and Rights Listing function allows you to print or preview the activity types and activity rights records set up in AccountMate Enterprise. The report provides a quick view of the nature of your company's activities and processes that are involved in the course of transaction with the vendors (i.e., purchasing calls, payment calls, order delivery follow ups, technical support request, etc.).
This report has the following uses:
•To identify and determine users' access rights to view and/or update vendor activity types
•To review the activity types and activity rights records currently maintained in the system
To generate the Activity Type and Rights Listing, follow these steps:
1.Access the Activity Type and Rights Listing function from the Activity Listings group in the Reports main menu.
2.Click the List box button next to the Sort By field and select from the following report sorting options:
•Activity Type
•User
•Group
3.In the Layout field, click the List box button to select the report layout you want to use in generating the report.
4.In the Report Configuration area, define the desired report filters. Depending on the sorting option you chose, mark the Individual checkbox if you want to generate the report for a single activity type, user or group, and enter the appropriate value in the adjacent field; otherwise, select in the Filters area the desired criteria in generating the report.
5.If applicable, mark the Show Activity Type Only checkbox if you want to show in the report only the activity types, associated transaction types, and status. If this checkbox is unmarked, the report will show the activity types, users, groups, and access rights.
6.Click the Preview or Print button to preview or print the report. In the Report Preview page, you may click the Configure tab to return to the Report Configuration page.
The Activity Type and Rights Listing function also provides you with flexibility to perform the following:
•Set up user-defined report macro
•Set up user-defined sort option
•Set up user-defined report layout
•Include notes in the printed report
•Export the report to various supported file formats
