The Restore Sample Company function allows you to restore the sample company database with the original sample company data. This function is useful when you want start over the original sample company data.

 

 

To restore an AccountMate sample company database, perform the following procedures:

 

1.In the System Manager module, select System Administration main menu; then, click the Restore Sample Company function. The Restore Sample Company function window will then display.

 

2.The sample companies you have installed will be listed under the Sample Company Database column. Mark the checkbox(es) that corresponds to the sample company database(s) you want to restore.

 

3.When you are ready to proceed, click the Start button to start the restore process; otherwise, click the Cancel button to abort the process.

 

4.As the system goes through the restoring process, it displays a pop-up window showing its progress. When the restore process is complete, the system shows “Completed” in the Status column of the corresponding sample company.

 

5.Once all the marked sample company databases had a “Completed” status, click the Close button to close the Restore Sample Company function screen.

 

6.You may now access the sample company databases, and start creating master records and various transactions.
