Labor/Machine Page

The Labor/Machine page of the Work Center Maintenance function allows you to set up the authorized labor usage and machine records assigned in the work center.

 

 

To set up authorized labor and machine records in the work center, perform the following steps in this page:

 

1.In the Authorized Labor grid, enter the labor number of employees or a team record that you want to be part of this work center. Perform the following in this grid:

 

5.1. Activate a new blank line in the grid by clicking the Append row to end button.  

 

5.2. Enter the labor number in the Labor # field. Alternatively, you may enter the team # in the Team # field. You may also click the List box button under the Labor # and the Team # fields to select from a drop down list. Once a valid labor # or team # is entered in this field, its name/description and warehouse assigned (if any) are displayed in the corresponding fields in the grid.  

 

For subsequent grid entries, you may click the Append row to end button to activate a new blank line in the grid or click the Insert row before current button to insert a blank line above the currently selected line in the grid.

 

To delete a line in the grid, select the line that you want to delete; then, click the Delete button in the grid toolbar.

Note: Be sure that all team members are active status; otherwise, you cannot save this work center record.

 

2.In the Machine grid, enter the machine number(s) assigned to this work center. Perform the following in this grid:

 

6.1. Activate a new blank line in the grid by clicking the Append row to end button.  

 

6.2. Enter the machine number in the Machine # field. You may also click the List box button to select a machine record from a drop down list. Once a valid machine # is entered in this field, the machine's description is displayed in the corresponding field in the grid.  

 

For subsequent grid entries, you may click the Append row to end button to activate a new blank line in the grid or click the Insert row before current button to insert a blank line above the currently selected line in the grid.

 

To delete a line in the grid, select the line that you want to delete; then, click the Delete button in the grid toolbar.

Note: Be sure that the labor and machine records are assigned to the same warehouse; otherwise, you cannot save this work center record.
