The Substitute Inventory window displays a list of all the inventory items that you have assigned as substitutes for the selected line item using the Substitute Inventory Maintenance function. You can access this window by clicking the Substitute button in the Line Items grid of the Line Items page and allows you to review the substitutes and/or select a substitute for the line item.

 

 

To substitute a line item for another inventory item in the blanket sales order, perform the following procedures:

 

1.Select the line item in the Line Items grid that you want to replace with a substitute; then, click the Substitute button in the grid toolbar to display the Substitute Inventory window.

 

 

 

2.Review the information which is displayed in this window; then, select the inventory item for which you will replace the original line item by double-clicking on the chosen item.  AccountMate will automatically replace the original item with the substitute item in the grid in the Line Items page and close the Substitute Inventory window.
