The Blanket Sales Order function allows you to create blanket sales orders. You may convert these blanket sales orders into regular sales order by releasing the ordered quantities using the Release Blanket Sales Order function. This function also allows you to amend, cancel or void the blanket sales order template you have created.
Creating a blanket sales order and a regular sales order follow the same procedures except that a blanket sales order becomes a valid sales order only when it is released.

•If the Manufacturing module in not activated, you cannot drill-down on the In-process field in the Line Items page.
