Sales Order > Blanket Sales Order

You use a blanket sales order to establish and authorize an order for a certain quantity of inventory items for a particular customer within a specific period of time. Once you released the quantities of the line items in the blanket sales order, a sales order will be generated by the system for said quantities.

You can secure the integrity of data entry by assigning access rights to persons who are permitted to use this function. You can assign access rights to the Blanket SO function using the Group Access Rights function in the System Administrator module.

You can do the following for your blanket sales order:

•Create a blanket sales order

•Release a blanket sales order

•Print a blanket sales order document
