With the Pricing Control module you can define a more elaborate pricing structure beyond just a unit price for your inventory items. This section discusses the procedures on how to set up the different pricing options in AccountMate Enterprice when the Pricing Control module is activated.
To set up inventory item's List Price, Minimum Price, Special Price and Multi-Level Price with the Pricing Control module activated, perform the following steps:
1.Access the Inventory Maintenance function from the Inventory group under the Maintenance main menu of the Inventory Control module. The Search screen is automatically displayed when this function is accessed. Alternatively, you may also access the Inventory Maintenance function from the Accounts Receivable and Sales Order modules.

2.Enter in the Search field the item # for which you want to set up multiple prices or you may scroll up and down the grid to locate the item record; then, double-click the item code to select. As soon as an item # is selected, the item's details are displayed on their respective fields in the different pages of this function.
Alternatively, you may use the full text search feature when searching for item records. Simply click the Show Full Text Search button in the right-most area of the screen to display the Full Text Search field. Enter in this field the value of the record you want to search for using the values in the columns displayed on the Search screen. |
3.Access the Pricing page to set up an item's List Price, Minimum Price and Special Price. Refer to the Pricing Page for the detailed discussion on how to set up these pricing options.
4.Access the Multi-Level Pricing page to define multi-level pricing for an inventory item. Refer to the Multi-Level Pricing Page for the detailed discussion on how to set up multi-level prices.
To set up inventory item's Current Customer Price with the Pricing Control module activated, perform the following steps:
1.Access the Accounts Receivable Setup or Sales Order Module Setup function.
2.In the General Information page, locate the Current Customer Price Based On area; then, select either of the following options:
oLast Sales Order Price
Select this option if you want the selling price of the item to be the price that was used on the last sales order for the customer. Enter in the Expire After Days field the number of days you want this price to be in effect. |
oLast Invoice Price
Select this option if you want the selling price of the item to be the price that was used on the last invoice price for the customer pricing. Enter in the Expire After Days field the number of days you want this price to be in effect. |

3.If the customer is part of a Customer Price Group, perform these steps:
3.1. Access the Customer Price Group Maintenance function from the Pricing Group in the Maintenance menu of either the Accounts Receivable or Sales Order module. |
3.2. In the Customer Price Maintenance screen, select the group code where the customer is assigned; then, mark the Use Last Sales Order Price/Use Last Invoice Price checkbox. |
3.3. Access the Customer Maintenance function and open the customer record. In the Pricing area of the Settings page, enter in the Customer Price Group field the price group assigned to the customer. Click Save when you are done. |
To set up inventory item's Current Contract Price with the Pricing Control module activated, perform the following steps:
1.Access the Customer Inventory Maintenance function from the Inventory group in the Accounts Receivable or Sales Order module.
2.In the Customer Inventory Maintenance function, set up and cross-reference the customer's item #, description and unit-of-measurement to that of your inventory record.
3.Enter in the Contract Price field the customer's contract price for the item.
4.Access the Customer Maintenance function and access the customer record. In the Settings page, mark the Use Customer Item # for SO/Invoice Entry option in the Order/Invoice Transaction Controls area.
