The Statistical Code Maintenance function allows you to set up, maintain and delete statistical code records, which you can use in recording non-financial transactions.
To create a statistical code record, perform the steps below:
1.Access the General Maintenance group in the Maintenance tab of the General Ledger module; then, select the Statistical Codes function. Click the New button.

2.In the Statistical Account Code field, enter a maximum of 10 alphanumeric characters that you want to assign to the new statistical code record.
3.Enter in the Description field a narrative description to help you identify the statistical code record. You can enter a description of up to 100 alphanumeric characters.
4.In the Information page, enter additional information about the statistical code record. For more information, refer to the Information Page section.
5.Enter in the Notes page unlimited narrative information about the statistical code record. For more information, see the Notes Page section.
6.When you are ready to save the statistical code record, click the Save button in the Maintenance toolbar; otherwise, click the Cancel button.
