The Notes page allows you to store important comments or reminders about each customer. In some cases, these notes may play a critical part in maintaining smooth relationships with your customers and in successfully carrying purchasing policies and procedures.

This page allows you to review, accept, or amend these narrative information about the customer and this sales order transaction. This page will be displayed by default if the Show Notes First in Transactions option is selected in the customer record. The notes you enter in this page will appear in the customer record. These notes are for your company’s reference only and do not appear in the sales order document.

Note: Although the process of creating sales orders and quotes are handled by separate functions, much of the procedures and screens involved are similar. The discussion to follow will use the term “Sales Order” to refer to both sales orders and quotes unless indicated otherwise.
