The Projected Kit Item Requirement Report provides information on the number of component items required to meet the demands of existing sales orders requiring either standard pre-build kits that do not have enough on-hand quantity and/or customized pre-build kit items as backordered line items.
This report is useful for determining the needed component items to build kit items of existing sales orders.

To generate the Projected Kit Item Requirement Report, perform the following procedures:
1.Access the Projected Kit Item Transaction Requirement Report function from the MRP Reports group under the Reports main menu in the Inventory Control module.
2.Select the report configuration that you want to use by clicking the List box button next to the Configuration field.
3.Click the List box button next to the Sort By field and select from the following report sorting options:
•SO #
•Customer #
•Kit Item #
•Order Date
•Request Date
4.In the Layout field, click the List box button to select the report layout you want to use in generating the report.
5.In the Report Configuration area, define the report filters. You may mark the Individual checkbox if you want to generate the report for a single record and enter the appropriate value in the adjacent field; otherwise, select in the Filters area the preferred criteria in generating the report.
6.Mark the Exclude Components not in Shortage checkbox if you want to exclude in the report the component items whose final net quantity value is greater than zero.
7.Click the Preview or Print button to preview or print the report. Click the Configure tab to return to the report configuration page.
The Projected Kit Item Requirement Report function also provides you with the flexibility to perform the following:
•Set up user-defined report macro
•Set up user-defined sort option
•Set up user-defined report layout
•Include notes in the printed report
•Export the report to various supported file formats
•Send the report as attachment to an email
•Include time and printed by information
•Drill-down on certain fields in the report:
oItem #
AccountMate displays the Item profile when you double-click the item number in the report. |
oKit Item #
AccountMate displays the Kit Item profile when you double-click the kit item number in the report. |
oSO #
AccountMate displays the Sales Order document when you double-click the sales order number in the report. |
oCustomer #
AccountMate displays the Customer profile when you double-click the customer number in the report. |
