The Search Window provides options and settings that you can use to customize the search grid configuration. The following features are available in a Search window that you can select at the top-left area of the screen:
oShow Column Filters
This setting provides the capability to filter a certain field in the search grid. Simply click the 'funnel' icon next to the field name in the grid. This will display the filter criteria that you can use to search for records that matches the filter value(s) you enter. This feature is especially useful when searching through a large number of records. |
oGrid Configuration
This function provides you with options that allows you to choose grid settings in the Search Window. The following are the options you can find: |
•Column Chooser
You can choose the fields that will be displayed in a Lookup Search window. These fields corresponds to columns in the grid. To do this, click the Grid Configuration button; then, select the fields that you want to display by marking checkboxes that corresponds to the fields available for this particular Lookup Search window. |
•Select Configuration
This feature allows you to select a grid configuration record that is previously saved in the system. This feature gives you the flexibility to change search grid settings easily and as often as you need.
To do this, simply click the Grid Configuration button; then, go to Select Configuration from the options list and click the grid configuration that you want to use. |
•Save Grid Configuration
This function allows you to save any changes you may have done to an existing search grid settings record. |
•Save Grid Configuration As
AccountMate Enterprise allows you to customize and save the Lookup Search window grid settings. With this feature, you do not need to set up the grid settings each time you access the Lookup Search window. The system supports an unlimited number of search grid configuration records.
To save a new grid configuration record, perform the following:
1.Set up your preferred search grid settings. 2.Click the Grid Configuration button; then, select Save Grid Configuration As option. 3.In the Save Grid State As window that appears, enter in the name of this search settings in the Name field. 4.Click the Ok button to save the new record; otherwise, click Cancel. |
•Delete Grid Configuration
You can delete an existing search grid configuration record by following these steps:
1.Be sure to select the grid configuration you want to delete. 2.Click the Grid Configuration button to display the options list. 3.Select the Delete Grid Configuration option. |
