AccountMate Enterprise provides a Search function where you can search for records that are available in the system. The Search window is displayed after clicking the Lookup button beside a maintenance field such as Item #, Customer #, or Vendor # fields.
If you right-click on any Lookup button, the Full Text Search [xxx] window is displayed where you can view all the existing records available for a particular maintenance or transaction. However, if you left-click on any Lookup button, the Key Search [xxx] window is displayed that shows a list of existing records that start with the same characters as entered in the maintenance field or search field you wanted to search.
The Search screen, on the other hand, can be seen and automatically displayed in most Maintenance or Transaction functions when these functions are accessed. The Search screen shows corresponding records relevant to the function being accessed.
The Search Screen/Search Window also allows browsing of search results by pages. In this screen/window, you can find navigation buttons that you can use to conveniently browse the search results from one page to the next or back. This feature comes in handy when searching through a large number of records.
It is also where you can select existing records when creating or amending maintenance or transaction records.
You may also click the Show Column Filters button to put a filter in each column in the Search Screen/Window. This comes in handy when you are browsing through pages of search results data.
