The IC Module Setup function allows you to set up parameters within which you can utilize the IC module. This function also defines the controls that will be applied during transactions involving inventory items. It also facilitates the activation of special modules involving inventory such as lot control, inventory specification and kitting.
To set up the default values for various records and transactions in the IC module, perform the following procedures:
1.Access the Inventory Control Setup function from the Setup group in the Maintenance menu of the Inventory Control module.
2.In the General Information page, specify the default decimal places for the unit cost and unit price; whether non-stock items are allowed in certain transactions, the parameters pertaining to inventory transfer between warehouses, whether to show cost in internal stock issuance transactions, specify the default cost method and quantity decimal for new inventory types, and activate the special modules’ various auxiliary functions if needed. 3.In the Printing page, define the printing parameters for IC documents. For more information, see the Printing Page section.
4.When you have entered the necessary information, click the Save button to save chosen settings; the system will then update the affected records.
