The AccountMate Inventory Control module includes capabilities designed to help you carry out the following:
•You can assign different cost methods for your inventory items.
•You can assign serial numbers to units of inventory items that use any cost method; and assign serial numbers for items during its shipment to customers.
•You can use bar code in inputting inventory items into the system and print these bar codes even with a regular laser printer.
•You can perform inventory counts anytime and as often as needed without interrupting the users’ shipping and receiving procedures.
•You can update automatically basic inventory prices and multi-level prices for all or a selected range of inventory items by applying a percentage or fixed amount to the current prices or costs of the items.
•You can adjust an inventory item’s quantity, unit cost or total value in a particular warehouse and bin.
•You can define also an unlimited number of substitute items for each inventory item.
•You can transfer inventory items between items, warehouses and bins.
•You can set up multiple warehouses, bins and unit of measurements.
•You will have easy access to inventory item information like on-order quantity, in-transit quantity, in process quantity, allocated quantity, on-hand quantity, booked quantity and available quantity.

oAssign Serial Numbers
You can assign serial numbers to inventory items set up as serialized and assign serial numbers by using any of the following functions: |

oInventory Movement
You can move inventory items from one bin to another bin, from one warehouse to another warehouse, or from one item record to another. With this feature, repackaging of inventory item units is possible. You can perform inventory transfer through the following functions: |

•Receive Warehouse Inventory Transfer
oPhysical Inventory Count
You can perform physical inventory count anytime to reconcile the on-hand quantity of your inventory item units as recorded in the system against the actual on-hand quantity resulting from the physical count. You can perform this feature through the following functions: |
•Freeze Inventory
•Input Physical Count
•Update Physical Count
•Clear Frozen Inventory
oInventory Adjustment
You can adjust an inventory item’s quantity, unit cost and total value using the Inventory Adjustment function. You can also post beginning inventory balances through this function. |
