The Activity Page allows you to create customer activity records provided that you are granted access rights to do so. These activities may include but not limited to collection calls, marketing calls, support calls, support e-mails, etc. You may filter or amend the customer activity entries displayed in this tab using the Selection Criteria. Customer activity entries are displayed on the grid and are accessible from the activity page of other functions related to customer transactions.
To add a new customer activity entry in this page, perform these steps:
1.Click the Append row to end button or the Insert row before current button from the grid's toolbar to display the Create/Update Customer Activity window.
2.In the Create/Update Customer Activity window, enter pertinent information in the available fields. For more information about the fields in this window, see the Create/Update Customer Activity Window section.
3.Click OK to save your changes.
To filter the customer activity entries that can be viewed in this page, perform these steps:
1.You may click the Expand/Hide (
) button in the Selection Criteria section. Clicking the Expander button will display the available filter options.
2.Define the filter criteria in the following fields:
2.1. Select the option that you want to use:
•Last Number of Days •Activity Date |
2.2. In the following fields, you may select either ALL or Range option. If you select Range, you must enter or select the appropriate values in the From/To fields in any of these fields:
•Entered By •Activity Type •Transaction Type •Transaction # •Contact |
2.3. In the Description Contains field, you may enter specific characters, words, or phrases to show activity records that contains these characters in the activity's description. |
3.Click the OK button to display all the activity records that meets the selection criteria.
To update an existing customer activity entry in this tab, perform these steps:
1.Double-click the activity entry in the grid to display the Create/Update Customer Activity window.
2.Update the information in the Create/Update Customer Activity window. For more information about the fields in this window, see the Create/Update Customer Activity Window section.
3.Click OK to save your changes.
To delete a customer activity entry from the grid, perform these steps:
1.Highlight the customer activity entry that you want to delete.
2.Click the Delete selected rows button in the grid toolbar.
3.Click OK to save your changes.
