The Bill of Materials Routing Listing provides information about all the routing steps required in manufacturing the master items as defined and set up in the bill of materials. This report shows all the details at every routing step including the work center assigned to each step level, required steps, next step, BOM version, scheduling and remnant information at each step level, batch size, schedule type, lead time and overlap percentage.
This report can be used to review in one glance all the details in each routing step in manufacturing the master items.
To print the BOM Routing Listing, perform the following steps:
1.Access the BOM Routing Listing function from the Listings group under the Reports main menu in Manufacturing module.
2.Click the List box button beside the Configuration field and select the preferred report configuration.
3.Amend or accept the default sorting option in the Sort By field. To select a different Sort By option, click the List box button and select from the options displayed on the list.
4.In the Layout field, accept or amend the default layout for the report. To select a different Layout option, click the List box button and select from the options displayed on the list.
5.In the Report Configuration area, define the report filters. Depending on the Sort By option you choose, you may mark the Individual checkbox if you want to generate the report for a single record and enter the appropriate value in the adjacent field; otherwise, select in the Filters area the preferred criteria in generating the report.
6.Select which version of the bill of material you want to generate the report:
•Current Effective Version
•All Versions
7.Select from any of the following checkbox, if applicable:
oInclude Scheduling Information
Mark this checkbox if you want to include in the report information regarding labor and machine scheduling. |
oInclude Remnant Information
Mark this checkbox if you want to include in the report information about the remnant item(s) produced at each routing step, if any. |
8.Click the Preview or Print button to preview or print the report, respectively.
The BOM Routing Listing function provides you with flexibility to perform the following:
•Set up user-defined report macro
•Set up user-defined sort option
•Set up user-defined report layout
•Include notes in the printed report
•Export the report to various supported file formats
•Send the report as attachment to an email
•Include time and printed by information
