The Warehouse Page allows you to manage the warehouses that you want to appear by default on inventory item records to which you will apply this inventory type code.
To add a warehouse to the warehouse grid, perform the following:
1.Click the Append row to end button in the grid toolbar to activate a new line in the warehouse grid. Alternatively, you may click the Insert row before current button to insert a new line in the warehouse grid before the current line.
2.Enter in the Warehouse field the warehouse that you want to appear by default on inventory item records to which you will apply this inventory type code. Alternatively, you may click the Lookup button to display the Warehouses available for this inventory type. Note that as soon you enter a Warehouse code in this field, the related information of the warehouse code will automatically display in the respective fields in the grid.
3.Click the Show/Hide (
) button to hide or display the Warehouse Details grid. This grid allows you to define the bins in the selected warehouse where the inventory items assigned with this inventory type record will be stored.
4.In the Warehouse Details grid, click the Append row to end button to activate a new line. Alternatively, you may click the Insert row before current button to insert a new line in the grid before the current line. Perform the following:
4.1. Enter in the Bin field an existing warehouse bin record where the inventory item will be stored. Alternatively, you may click the List box button to display all the available bins in the selected warehouse; then, click the bin to select. Once a valid bin is entered in this field, the related information of the bin will be displayed in the respective fields. |
4.2. Enter in the Refill Point field, the stock level at which you want the quantity of the inventory item to be replenished in this bin. If you specified an inventory type for this inventory item with refill point values, the corresponding values in the inventory type will appear in this field as the default values. You can always amend the default refill point values as necessary. |
4.3. Enter in the Refill Qty field, the suggested order quantity to replenish the bin quantity stock levels. If you specified an inventory type for this inventory item with refill quantity values, the corresponding values in the inventory type will appear in this field as the default values. You can always amend the default refill quantity values as necessary. |
4.4. To delete a bin in the grid, highlight the bin that you want to delete; then, click the Delete button in the Warehouse Details grid toolbar. |
5.To delete a warehouse in the warehouse grid, highlight the warehouse that you want to delete; then, click the Delete button in the Warehouse grid toolbar.
