AccountMate Enterprise allows you to control the activity rights granted to certain users. Using the Activity Rights function, you may grant each user or group of users the rights to add, view, edit, or delete each activity type set up in AccountMate.
To set up activity rights, perform the following:
1.Access the Activity Rights function from the Maintenance menu. The Group page is automatically displayed when this function is accessed.
2.There are three (3) ways you can grant the activity rights to a user or group. In this function, select the option(s) you want to define which users can add, view, edit or delete activity type records. For each user that you want to give specific access rights, mark the appropriate checkbox that corresponds to the access right. Alternatively, you may click the Full checkbox to grant the user the ability to view, add, edit and delete activity rights records.

Option 1
In the Group page, mark the appropriate checkbox(es) that corresponds to the activity type you want to grant the user group. Note that activity rights granted to a group are inherited by all the users assigned under the group. |
Option 2
In the User page, mark the appropriate checkbox(es) that corresponds to the activity type you want to grant the individual user. |
Option 3
In the Activity Type page, mark the appropriate checkbox(es) that corresponds to the access rights you want to grant the individual user for each activity type. |
3.When you are ready, click the Save button to save the activity rights; otherwise, click Cancel.
