Fiscal Period Definition Page

AccountMate Enterprise allows you to define the company's number of fiscal periods, fiscal period interval type, fiscal period interval, the first day of the fiscal year, and current fiscal year when you first set up the company. Note that these are a one-time setup only and that you can no longer change the settings once the company is saved.

 

 

In the Fiscal Period Table Setup Page, accept or amend, if applicable, the default values in the following fields:

 

Fiscal Period Interval Type

Accept the default fiscal period interval of 1 month or amend this value by providing the number value in the first field; then, select from among the Month(s), Week(s), or Day(s) options in the list box. Click the List box button, at the end of this field, to display the list box.

 

Fiscal Period Interval

Accept or amend the default 1 fiscal period interval which represents the duration of each fiscal period. You may manually enter a value in this field or click the Spinner button to select a value.

 

Number for Fiscal Periods

Accept or amend the default 12 fiscal periods that comprise the company's one (1) fiscal year. You may manually enter a value in this field or click the Spinner button to select a value.

 

First Day of the Fiscal Year

Accept or amend the default date in this field.  The default date is the first day of the current year. You may click the Calendar button to select a different date.

 

Current Fiscal Year

Accept or amend the default year in this field. The default year is the current year. You may manually enter a value in this field or click the Spinner button to select a year.
