Tax Rate Schedule

The Tax Rate Schedule page becomes enabled only after a tax entity record is saved and if the Calculation Method selected in the Information page is the Tax Rate option. This page allows you to set up various effective dates for different tax rates assigned to the tax entity record.

 

 

To set up a sales tax rates effectivity schedule for the tax entity record, perform the following:

 

1.In the Tax Rates grid, click the Append row to end button in the grid toolbar to activate a line in the grid.

 

2.In the Effective Date field, enter the date for when the tax rate becomes effective.

 

3.Enter in the Tax Rate field, the corresponding sales tax rate that will be used depending upon its effective date.

 

4.To insert a line above the current line in the grid, click the Insert row before current button in the grid toolbar.

 

5.To delete a line in the grid, highlight the line that you want to delete; then, click the Delete selected rows button in the grid toolbar.

 

6.When you are ready, click the Save button to save your settings in this page. If you made any changes in the Information page, those entries will also be saved.
