Update or Delete Contact Code

To update a contact person's record in the Contact Maintenance function, perform the steps below:

 

1.Access the Contact Maintenance function from the Vendor or Customer group under the Maintenance menu in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchase Order or Sales Order module.

 

2.Enter in the Search field the contact code that you want to update, or you may scroll up and down the grid to locate the code; then, double-click the code to select. As soon as a contact code is selected, the details are displayed on their respective fields in the different pages of this function.

 

3.Review or amend the values displayed in the fields available in the Details, Address, Phone, and Email pages. Non-editable fields are grayed out and cannot be accessed.

 

4.When you are ready, click the Save button from the function toolbar to save your changes; otherwise, click Cancel.

 

 

 

To delete a contact person's record in the Contact Maintenance function, perform the steps below:

 

1.Access the Contact Maintenance function from the Vendor or Customer group under the Maintenance menu in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchase Order or Sales Order module.

 

2.Enter in the Search field the contact code that you want to update, or you may scroll up and down the grid to locate the code; then, double-click the code to select. As soon as a contact code is selected, the details are displayed on their respective fields in the different pages of this function.

 

3.Click the Delete button from the function toolbar. A message will be displayed asking confirmation to delete the contact's record. Select Yes to confirm; otherwise, click the No button.
