Manufacturing master and/or parent items may need labor resources to complete a work order. In AccountMate Enterprise, a Labor resource record represents an individual worker that will be working in the manufacture of products. It may also represent a particular kind of work necessary in the assembly or subassembly of an item. You can set up, maintain, or delete labor records using the Labor Maintenance function. These records serve as the source of labor usage information in the Manufacturing module.  

 

AccountMate Enterprise provides you more flexibility with the ability to group together labor records into teams using the Team Maintenance function. These teams may compose of labor records that are assigned to the same work center, have the same work shifts and produces the same master and/or parent items.

 

The system also tracks the time spent by a labor resource on finished jobs and time allocated to unfinished jobs. This helps you to determine the availability of each team and their labor resources for other jobs.
