Master Records > Inventory > Create Inventory Record > Settings Page

The Lot # Template for Item [xxx] window is displayed when you click the Lot # Template field label in the Lot Control area of the Settings page. This window shows for your reference, the different merge codes available that you can use to create a template for assigning lot numbers to lot-controlled inventory items.

To do this, enter the merge code(s) that you want to use in the Lot # Template field; then, close the window when you are done.

The lot # template that you enter here will be used when you choose to manually assign serial numbers to serialized inventory items in the following functions:

•Assign Lot # by Item

•Assign Lot # by PO (Purchase Order)

•Assign Lot # to Customized Kit Item
