The Physical Count Serial # Report shows the serial numbers assigned to the serialized inventory items that are frozen in the system in preparation for the physical inventory count.

The report can be used to compare the serial numbers recorded in the system and those attached to the actual units on hand

Notes:

•Before you print this report, you must freeze the serialized inventory item.

•You can no longer print this report after you update the inventory records to record the results of the actual physical count or after you clear the frozen items.

To generate the Physical Count Serial # Report, perform the following procedures:

1.Access the Physical Count Serial # Report function from the Physical Count Reports group under the Reports main menu in the Inventory Control module.

2.Click the List box button next to the Configuration field; then, select the report configuration that you want to use.

3.Select the report sorting option by clicking the List box button next to the Sort By field.

4.In the Layout field, click the List box button to select the report layout you want to use in generating the report.

5.In the Report Configuration area, define the report filters. Depending on the sorting option you choose, mark the Individual checkbox if you want to generate the report for a single item and enter the appropriate value in the adjacent field; otherwise, select in the Filters area the preferred criteria in generating the report.

6.Select which of the following you want to include in the report:

•Active and Inactive Items

•Active Items Only

•Inactive Items Only

7.Mark the Show Specification checkbox to include in the report the specifications of the inventory items, when applicable.

8.Click the Preview or Print button to preview or print the report. Click the Configure tab to return to the report configuration page.

The Physical Count Serial # Report function also provides you with the flexibility to perform the following:

•Set up user-defined report macro

•Set up user-defined sort option

•Set up user-defined report layout

•Include notes in the printed report

•Export the report to various supported file formats

•Send the report as attachment to an email

•Include time and printed by information

•Drill-down on certain fields in the report:
