Physical Count Worksheet Report

The Physical Count Worksheet Report provides information about the inventory items that you have frozen using the Freeze Inventory function in preparation for the physical inventory count.

 

This report has the following uses:

 

Facilitates the physical inventory count particularly by providing you with the bin location and the on-hand quantities per book for each inventory item.

Helps you in confirming each inventory item’s units of measurement and other similar information that are useful during the physical inventory count.

Basis for updating the inventory items’ quantities and serial numbers using the Input Physical Count function

Note: You can generate the Physical Count Worksheet Report after you have frozen the inventory items using the Freeze Inventory function.

 

 

To generate the Physical Count Worksheet Report, perform the following:

 

1.Access the Physical Count Worksheet Report function from the Physical Count Reports group under the Reports main menu in the Inventory Control module.

 

2.Click the List box button next to the Configuration field; then, select the report configuration that you want to use.

 

3.Select the report sorting option by clicking the List box button next to the Sort By field.

 

4.In the Layout field, click the List box button to select the report layout you want to use in generating the report.

 

5.In the Report Configuration area, define the report filters. Depending on the sorting option you choose, mark the Individual checkbox if you want to generate the report for a single warehouse and enter the appropriate value in the adjacent field; otherwise, select in the Filters area the preferred criteria in generating the report.

 

6.Select which of the following you want to include in the report:

 

Active and Inactive Items

Active Items Only

Inactive Items Only

 

7.Mark any or all of the following checkboxes, if applicable:

 

oDouble-Space Worksheet

Mark this checkbox to make it easier in recording the physical inventory count results and to provide enough space for notes pertaining to the count.

 

oShow On-hand Quantity

Mark this checkbox if you want to display the on-hand quantities of the inventory items in the report.

 

oShow Specification

Mark this checkbox to show the specifications of the inventory item.

 

8.Click the Preview or Print button to preview or print the report. Click the Configure tab to return to the report configuration page.

 

 

The Physical Count Worksheet Report function also provides you with the flexibility to perform the following:

 

Set up user-defined report macro

Set up user-defined sort option

Set up user-defined report layout

Include notes in the printed report

Export the report to various supported file formats

Send the report as attachment to an email

Include time and printed by information

Drill-down on certain fields in the report:

oItem #

AccountMate displays the Item Profile when you double-click the item number in the report.
