The Print Pick List function allows you to print or preview a pick list document that provides information on each step in manufacturing a work order. It includes details such as specific warehouse, bin location and required manufacturing quantity of the components at each step; and the work center where the items should be delivered.

This report has the following uses:
•This report can be used as a checklist for all master and component items that are needed in manufacturing products to fulfill a work order.
•The document can be used in identifying and locating inventory items that are included in a work order.
To print a Pick List, perform the following steps:
1.Access the Pick List function from the Documents group under the Reports main menu in Manufacturing module.
2.Click the List box button beside the Configuration field and select the preferred report configuration.
3.Amend or accept the default sorting option in the Sort By field. To select a different Sort By option, click the List box button and select from the options displayed on the list.
4.In the Layout field, accept or amend the default layout for the report. To select a different Layout option, click the List box button and select from the options displayed on the list.
5.In the Report Configuration area, define the report filters. Depending on the Sort By option you choose, you may mark the Individual checkbox if you want to generate the report for a single record and enter the appropriate value in the adjacent field; otherwise, select in the Filters area the preferred criteria in generating the report.
6.Mark any of the checkboxes, whichever is applicable:
oSuppress Background Color
Mark this checkbox if you do not want to show the background colors on the document. |
oShow Step Information
Mark this checkbox if you want the report to show the instructions for each step of the manufacturing process and that a separate report will be printed for each step. |
7.If you are printing more than one routing slips, select one of the following options:
•Printed and Unprinted Pick Lists
•Printed Pick Lists Only
•Unprinted Pick Lists Only
8.Click the Preview or Print button to preview or print the report, respectively. From the Report Preview tab, you may click the Configure tab to return to the report configuration page.
The Print Pick List function in the MA module provides you with flexibility to perform the following:
•Set up user-defined report macro
•Set up user-defined sort option
•Set up user-defined report layout
•Include notes in the printed report
•Export the report to various supported file formats
•Send the report as attachment to an email
•Include time and printed by information
