Inventory Transaction Log

The Inventory Transaction Log function generates a report that shows a complete list of transactions recorded for each of your inventory items in all modules.  You can use this report in tracking and reviewing overall inventory transactions.

 

To help you better understand the information shown in the report, the information below shows the different transaction type codes with its corresponding transaction:

 

AMSN for importing serial numbers

ASLT for Assign Lot Number function transactions

ASSN for Amend Serial Number function transactions

BKIT for building of kit items

CICM for inventory cost method change transactions

IADJ for transactions entered using the Inventory Adjustment function

IMVE for Bin Inventory Movement function transactions

IRCV for Receive Warehouse Inventory Transfer function transactions

ISTI for Internal Stock Issuance function transactions

ITRF for Warehouse Inventory Transfer function transactions

PCNT for physical count adjustment transactions performed using the Update Physical Count function

SADJ for Inventory Cost Update function transactions

VKIT for disassembling kit items

 

 

To generate the Inventory Transaction Log, perform the following steps:

 

1.Access the Inventory Transactions Log function from the Transaction Log Reports group under the Reports main menu in the Inventory Control module.

 

2.Select the report configuration that you want to use by clicking the List box button next to the Configuration field.

 

3.Click the List box button next to the Sort By field and select from the following report sorting options:

 

Item # + Warehouse + Transaction Date

Item # + Warehouse + Entry Date

 

4.In the Layout field, click the List box button to select the report layout you want to use in generating the report.

 

5.In the Report Configuration area, define the desired report filters. You may mark the Individual checkbox if you want to generate the report for a single item and enter the appropriate value in the adjacent field; otherwise, select in the Filters area the desired criteria in generating the report.

 

6.Click the Preview or Print button to preview or print the report. Click the Configure tab to return to the report configuration page.

 

 

The Inventory Transactions Log function also provides you with the flexibility to perform the following:

 

Set up user-defined report macro

Set up user-defined sort option

Set up user-defined report layout

Include notes in the printed report

Export the report to various supported file formats

Send the report as attachment to an email

Include time and printed by information

Drill-down on certain fields in the report:

oItem #

AccountMate displays the Item profile when you double-click the item number in the report.
