AR Status Report

The AR Status Report function allows you to generate a report that summarizes the status of the invoices.

 

This report has the following uses:

 

To serve as supporting document for the AR Aging report.

To determine the amounts which have been credited to the invoice balances.

 

 

To print an AR Status Report, perform the following steps:

 

1.Access the AR Status Report function from the Receivable Management group under the Reports main menu in the Accounts Receivable module.

 

2.Click the List box button next to the Configuration field; then, select the report configuration that you want to use.

 

3.Select the report sorting option by clicking the List box button next to the Sort By field.

 

4.In the Layout field, click the List box button to select the report layout you want to use in generating the report. Select the layout option with the 'multi-currency' in the layout name if you want the report to show multi-currencies. Note that this layout option is only available if the multi-currency feature is activated.

 

5.In the Report Configuration area, define the preferred report filters.

 

6.Select which of the following you want to include in the report:

 

Invoices and Sales Returns

Sales Invoices Only

Sales Returns Only

 

7.Mark any or all of the following checkboxes, if applicable:

 

oOutstanding Invoices Only

Mark this checkbox if you want to include only the outstanding invoices in the report.

 

oShow Last Paid Date

Mark this checkbox if you want to display in the report the last paid date recorded for each invoice.

 

oShow Multi-Currencies

Mark this checkbox if you want the report to display the amounts in the customer’s foreign currency.

 

oConsolidate AR Status

Mark this checkbox if you want the report to show the status of AR invoices for both the consolidation and subsidiary customers. Take note, however, that the Consolidate AR Status checkbox is available only when you choose the Customer # sorting option.

 

 

8.Click the Preview or Print button to preview or print the report. Click the Configure tab to return to the report configuration page.

 

 

The AR Status Report function also provides you with the flexibility to perform the following:

 

Set up user-defined report macro

Set up user-defined sort option

Set up user-defined report layout

Include notes in the printed report

Export the report to various supported file formats

Send the report as attachment to an email

Include time and printed by information

Drill-down on certain fields in the report:

oCustomer #

AccountMate displays the Customer Profile when you double-click the customer number in the report.

 

oInvoice #

AccountMate displays the Invoice document when you double-click the invoice number in the report.

 

oSalesperson #

AccountMate displays the Salesperson Profile when you double-click the salesperson number in the report.

 

oCurrency

AccountMate displays the Currency Profile when you double-click the currency code in the report.
