Sales Order > Customized Kit Items in Sales Order > Assign Lot # to Customized Kit Item

The Review Lot # Page is automatically displayed when you click the OK button in the Selection Criteria Page of the Assign Lot # to Customized Kit Item function. This page displays all the lot-controlled items you want to assign lot numbers. If the lot controlled kit items are built kit and/or serialized inventory items with specification, the system will display in this page each unit of the lot-controlled kit item with no assigned lot number; otherwise, this page displays the lot-controlled inventory item in one line. Further, you can also assign the expiration dates of the lot-controlled items.

Perform the following procedures in this page:

1.To specify or amend the applicable lot numbers and expiration dates for the lot-controlled kit items, enter values in the Review Lot # grid:

oSystem Lot

Enter the desired lot number of the highlighted lot-controlled item in the grid. The default lot number is from the Default Lot # field in the Selection Criteria page.

oExpiration Date

Enter in this field the projected expiration date for the highlighted lot-controlled item in the grid. The default value in this column comes from the Default Expiration Date field of the Selection Criteria page.

oQuantity to Assign

Accept or amend in this column the kit item quantity that you will assign with lot control number(s). By default, this column displays a value that is equal to the unassigned quantity.

Note: If you amend the value in this column with a quantity that is lesser than the unassigned quantity, the system will automatically create a new line item having a quantity that will equal to the total unassigned quantity. For example, the unassigned quantity is 10 and you changed the assign quantity to 8. The system will create another line item with assign quantity of 2.

2.To specify the assigned quantities for the corresponding lot control numbers, perform the following depending on the type of lot-controlled items:

oLot-controlled Item

To specify the assigned quantities for the corresponding lot number, enter the desired quantities in the Quantity to Assign column.

oLot-controlled Kit/Serialized Item

To assign the quantities to a lot-controlled item which is also a kit or serialized item, click the checkbox of the desired unit of lot-controlled kit/serialized item in the Quantity to Assign column.
