Master Records > Miscellaneous Code

Miscellaneous codes are made available in the system to complement the existing maintenance records and to further enhance the ability to store important information about transactions recorded in the system. These miscellaneous codes are optional information and they are set up using a single Miscellaneous Maintenance function. This function allows the creation of a variety of master records such as class, industry, territory, ship via, F.O.B. and other such records that can then be assigned to other Maintenance and/or Transaction records.

Note: You can update or delete a miscellaneous code only if you are granted access rights. User access rights are set up in the Group Access Rights function in the System Administrator module.
