The Inventory GL Account Listing function generates a report that provides information on GL Accounts setup for inventory item records in different warehouses.
This report can be used to review the revenue and cost GL Account IDs set up for each inventory item or item specification.
To generate the Inventory GL Account Listing, perform the following procedures:
1.Access the Inventory GL Account Listing function from the Item Listings group under the Reports main menu in Inventory Control module.
2.Click the List box button beside the Configuration field and select your preferred report configuration.
3.Amend or accept the default sorting option in the Sort By field. To select a different Sort By option, click the List box button and select from the options displayed on the list.
4.In the Layout field, accept or amend the default layout for the report. To select a different Layout option, click the List box button and select from the options displayed on the list.
5.In the Report Configuration area, define the report filters. Depending on the Sort By option you choose, you may mark the Individual checkbox if you want to generate the report for a single record and enter the appropriate value in the adjacent field; otherwise, select in the Filters area the preferred criteria in generating the report.
6.Mark one of the following options to further filter the report:
oShow by Item Specification
This checkbox appears only when the Inventory Specification feature is activated in IC Module Setup. Mark this checkbox if you want to display in the report the specifications set up for the inventory items. |
oShow Revenue GL Accounts
This checkbox appears only when revenue is set to be tracked by inventory in SO/AR Module Setup functions. Mark this checkbox if you want to display in the report the Revenue and Cost GL Account IDs set up for the inventory items. |
7.Choose the status of the items that you want to show in the report:
•Active Items Only
•Inactive Items Only
•Active and Inactive Items
8.Click the Preview or Print button to preview or print the report, respectively. From the Report Preview tab, you may click the Configure tab to return to the report configuration page.
The Inventory GL Account Listing function provides you with flexibility to perform the following:
•Set up user-defined sort option
•Include notes in the printed report
•Export the report to various supported file formats
•Send the report as attachment to an email
•Include time and printed by information
