A Sales Order is a source document in the sales order system used to identify the inventory items ordered by a customer including related information such as the price, quantity and payment terms. You can also find the shipping and billing addresses for the order. The Print Sales Order function allows you to print sales orders.

To print sales orders, perform the following steps:
1.Access the Print Sales Order function from the Documents group in the Reports main menu of the Sales Order module.
2.Click the List box button next to the Configuration field; then, select the report configuration that you want to use.
3.Select the report sorting option by clicking the List box button next to the Sort By field.
4.In the Layout field, click the List box button to select the report layout you want to use in generating the report.
5.In the Report Configuration area, define the report filters. Depending on the Sort By option you choose, you may mark the Individual checkbox if you want to generate the report for a single sales order or customer, and enter the appropriate value in the adjacent field; otherwise, select in the Filters area the preferred criteria in generating the report.
6.Mark any or all of the following checkboxes:
oInclude Voided Sales Orders
Mark this checkbox if you want to include the sales orders that have been voided in the system. |
oShow Request Date
Mark this checkbox if you want to display the request date in the report. |
oSuppress Background Color
Mark this checkbox if you do not want to print the report’s background color. |
oShow Total Tax Amount Only
Mark this checkbox if you do not want to show the separate GST and PST amounts in the report. This option is available only for Canadian country tax companies. |
7.If applicable, select from any of the following options that you want for the credit card number information in your sales order:
oShow Pay Code
Select this option if you want to show in the report the pay code used in the sales transaction. |
oShow Credit Card #
This option is only available if you have the access right to Show Credit Card Number; otherwise, you cannot find this option in the report interface. If you have the access right, you can view the masked credit card number which means, only the last four numbers will be shown and the rest of the numbers are encrypted. |
8.If you are printing more than one sales order, select one of the following options:
•All Unprinted Sales Orders
•All Printed Sales Orders
•Printed and Unprinted Sales Orders
9.Click the Preview or Print button to preview or print the report. Click the Configure tab to return to the report configuration page.
The Print Sales Order function also provides you with flexibility to perform the following:
•Set up user-defined sort option
•Set up user-defined report layout
•Include notes in the printed report
•Export the report to various supported file formats
•Send the report as attachment to an email
•Include time and printed by information
•Drill-down on certain fields in the report:
oComponent Item #
AccountMate displays the Item Profile when you double-click the component item # in the report. |
