An element type is used to represent a specific transaction aspect that can be used to analyze the journal entries posted to each GL Account ID.

 

The Elements Maintenance function allows you to set up records for element types which you assign to a major segment value.

 

This function allows you to perform the following procedures:

 

•Set up Element Type Record

•Update or Delete Element Type Record
