The Information page automatically opens when you access the Release Blanket PO function. There are several read-only fields in this page that display information such as vendor address and vendor balances.

Perform the following procedures in the Information tab, if necessary:

1.You may click the Expander () button in the Vendor Details area to display read-only vendor-related information such as vendor address, current and accumulated transactions with the vendor, total credit limit granted by the vendor and available credit limit as of the current date. Open orders and unpaid balances are considered in computing for the available credit limit. You may also click the underlined field label to view detailed information that comprises the balances displayed in the applicable fields.

2.Review the default values in the editable fields. Accept, amend or enter values in the following fields, if applicable:

oOrder Date

This is the date that will be used by the system for the purchase order that will be created once items in this blanket purchase order are released. The default date is the system date.

Note: The order date should fall on or before the date displayed in the Valid Until field; otherwise, the system would not allow you to release the blanket purchase order.

oRequest Date

This is the date when you expect the goods to be received from the vendor once this blanket purchase order is released and converted into a purchase order. The default date is the date entered during the blanket purchase order creation.

3.Accept or amend or enter purchase order remarks in the blank area at the bottom part of the Information page. Alternatively, you may enter a remark code in the PO Remark # field or click the List box button to select from existing remark codes. Any changes you make in this area will only affect the purchase order created after the release of the blanket purchase order.
