Inventory Control - Other Listings

The Other Listings are reports specifically designed to provide information on various records maintained in the system. These reports provide a wide variety of information including a list of inventory types, conversion factors, unit-of-measurements, specification types and codes, warehouses and miscellaneous codes.

Inventory Type Listing

The Inventory Type Listing provides information on the inventory types set up using the Inventory Type Maintenance function. Inventory types represent groups of related inventory items that are packaged in specific unit-of-measurements. This report is useful for reviewing the various inventory type records and also serves as a guide in determining which inventory type to assign to a new inventory item record.

You can select to show in the report the remarks entered in the inventory type record’s Remarks tab.

Conversion Factor Listing

AccountMate allows you to specify conversion factors for each unit-of-measurement code. The Conversion Factor Listing provides information on the conversion factors maintained for each unit-of-measurement record in AccountMate. The report shows the target UofM, symbol and the conversion factor. This report is useful for reviewing the conversion factors maintained under each unit-of-measurement and as reference when adding new conversion factors to unit-of-measurement records.

Unit-of-Measurement Listing

The Unit-of-Measurement Listing shows a list of units-of-measurement records maintained in AccountMate. The report includes information such as the unit-of-measurements’ symbol, description and status. The report is useful for reviewing the unit-of-measurement records in the system and as reference when creating new unit-of-measurement records.

You can generate the report to show only unit-of-measurements that are active, only inactive or all regardless of status.

Specification Type and Code Listing

The Specification Type and Code Listing provides information on the specification types, including the associated specification codes and descriptions. Specification types and specification codes are set up in the Specification Maintenance and Item Specification Maintenance functions, respectively. This report is useful in reviewing and updating the specification types and codes maintained in AccountMate Enterprise.

Note: You must activate the Item Specification module to use the item specification features. The Item Specification module is available only in AccountMate Enterprise 2018 and higher versions.

Warehouse Listing

The Warehouse Listing provides information on the company’s warehouses and bins maintained in AccountMate Enterprise. This report is useful for reviewing warehouse information including the receiving bins.

You can select to include in this report the receiving bins only, the regular bins only or both. You can also opt to show the warehouse’s phone information, remarks about the bins and the GL account IDs assigned to each warehouse.

Miscellaneous Code Listing

The Miscellaneous Code Listing provides information on the pre-defined miscellaneous code types and user-defined codes set up for each miscellaneous type. The report shows information such as the miscellaneous type, miscellaneous code, description and status. The report can be used as reference in reviewing the miscellaneous codes and when creating new ones.

You can filter the report for any combination of the following miscellaneous types: buyer, commission, customer class, customer industry, customer territory, email, freight on board, item class, item product line, job title, lost sales order reason, manufacturing class, pay class, price code, refusal reason, ship via, summary statement ID, tier, vendor class, vendor industry, vendor territory, and work shift.

You can further opt to generate the report exclusively for active miscellaneous codes, exclusively for inactive miscellaneous codes, or all miscellaneous codes regardless of status.
