The View Item Best Price List window is where you can view the inventory item’s prices offered by different vendors. This window can be accessed by clicking the View Item Best Price List button in the Line Items page and is accessible only if the inventory item highlighted in the line items grid has an inventory vendor record.

In the View Item Best Price List window, AccountMate calculates and displays each vendor’s “price per piece” for the inventory item, not its “price per unit” because the vendors may not be offering the product in the same unit-of-measurement. For example, if one vendor quotes a price of $10 for a package comprised of two pieces and another vendor quotes a price of $24 for a package comprised of six pieces; it is more helpful to show that the first vendor charges $5 per piece and the second charges $4 per piece.
