The New Account IDs page displays all the GL accounts from the source company that matches the selection criteria you defined in the Selection Criteria page. It allows you to select or unselected specific GL account IDs to copy to your target company.
Perform the following in this page:
1.View for your reference the information of in the grid showing the GL account IDs that will be copied to the target company:
•New Account ID
•Description
•Short Description
•Status
•Account Type
•Account Group
•Account Category
2.Mark the corresponding checkbox of the GL account ID that you want to be copied. Alternatively, you may mark the checkbox in the header line to automatically select all GL account IDs displayed in the grid. Unmark the individual checkbox if you want to unselect the GL account ID.
3.Amend, if necessary, the value in the GL account ID Description and Short Description fields to customize the description and short description of the new GL Account ID.
4.When you are ready to copy, click the Copy button to start the copy operation. Note that the Copy button remains disabled if errors are found and if no checkbox in the grid is marked. Click the Cancel button to abort the operation.
5.After clicking the Copy button, the system will display a message depending on the following scenario:
•If the target company is a different company, the pop-up message will display informing you about the number of accounts, account group IDs and segment values that have been copied into the target company. Click Ok to proceed.
•If the target company is the same as the current company, the pop-up message will display the number of GL account IDs created for the current company. Click Ok to proceed.
