Inventory Unit of Measurement Listing

The Inventory Unit of Measurement Listing function generates a report that provides information about the units of measurement assigned to each inventory item maintained in the system. The details shown in the report is based on the information entered in the inventory item's maintenance record. You can use this report reviewing the inventory items' unit of measurement and as reference in creating new item records.  

 

 

To generate the Inventory Unit of Measurement Listing, perform the following procedures:

 

1.Access the Inventory Unit of Measurement Listing function from the Items Listings group under the Reports main menu in the Inventory Control module.

 

2.Click the List box button next to the Configuration field; then, select the report configuration that you want to use.

 

3.Select the report sorting option by clicking the List box button next to the Sort By field.

 

4.In the Layout field, click the List box button to select the report layout you want to use in generating the report.

 

5.In the Report Configuration area, define the desired report filters. You may mark the Individual checkbox if you want to generate the report for a single record and enter the appropriate value in the adjacent field; otherwise, select in the Filters area the desired criteria in generating the report.

 

6.Mark any or all of the following checkboxes, if applicable:

 

oItem

Mark this checkbox if you want to include in the report inventory records assigned with category "Item".

 

oService

Mark this checkbox if you want to include in the report inventory records assigned with category "Service".

 

oOther Charges

Mark this checkbox if you want to include in the report inventory records assigned with category "Other Charges".

 

 

7.Click the Preview or Print button to preview or print the report. Click the Configure tab to return to the report configuration page.

 

 

The Inventory Unit of Measurement Listing function also provides you with the flexibility to perform the following:

 

Set up user-defined report macro

Set up user-defined sort option

Set up user-defined report layout

Include notes in the printed report

Export the report to various supported file formats

Send the report as attachment to an email

Include time and printed by information
