Physical Count Log

The Physical Count Log report provides information about the physical inventory count results and the inventory balance updates for a particular inventory item.

 

The report can be used to determine the dates when the inventory on-hand quantities were updated based upon the physical inventory count results  

 

 

To generate the Physical Count Log report, perform the following steps:

 

1.Access the Physical Count Log function from the Physical Count Reports group under the Reports main menu in the Inventory Control module.

 

2.Click the List box button next to the Configuration field; then, select the report configuration that you want to use.

 

3.Select the report sorting option by clicking the List box button next to the Sort By field. Choose from the following options:

 

Warehouse + Bin

Item #

Item Class

Product Line

Update Date

 

4.In the Layout field, click the List box button to select the report layout you want to use in generating the report.

 

5.In the Report Configuration area, define the report filters. Depending on the sorting option you choose, mark the Individual checkbox if you want to generate the report for a single warehouse, item, item class, product line or update date, and enter the appropriate value in the adjacent field; otherwise, select in the Filters area the preferred criteria in generating the report.

 

6.Select which items you want to show in the report, depending on its status:

 

Active and Inactive Items

Active Items Only

Inactive Items Only

Note: These report options are not available when the Individual checkbox is marked.

 

 

7.Click the Preview or Print button to preview or print the report. Click the Configure tab to return to the report configuration page.

 

 

The Physical Count Log function also provides you with the flexibility to perform the following:

 

Set up user-defined report macro

Set up user-defined sort option

Set up user-defined report layout

Include notes in the printed report

Export the report to various supported file formats

Send the report as attachment to an email

Include time and printed by information

Drill-down on certain fields in the report:

AccountMate displays the Item Profile when you double-click the item number in the report.

1.      Access the Physical Inventory Count Reports function from the Reports menu; then, select the Physical Count Log Report option.

2.      Click the List Box button next to the Sort By field and select one of the following sorting options:

Class

 

Item #

 

Product Line

 

Update Date

 

Warehouse and Bin

 

 

 

3.      In the Criteria area, define the desired report criteria.

 

 

 

4.  You may also select which inventory items to include in the report depending upon their status. Select one of the following options:

 

 

 

Active and Inactive Items

 

Choose this option if you want to include all inventory items regardless of their status.

 

 

 

Active Items Only

 

Choose this option if you want to include all active inventory items only.

 

 

 

Inactive Items Only

 

Choose this option if you want to include all inactive inventory items only.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

5.      Click the Preview or Print button to preview or print the report.

 

 

 

The Physical Count Variance Report function also provides you with flexibility to perform the following:

 

 

 

Set up report macros.

 

Include notes in the printed report.

 

Export the report to various file formats.

 

Print report by batch.

 

Drill down on certain fields in the report:
