The Chart of Accounts Mapping Report displays the subsidiary company’s GL Account IDs mapped to the consolidation company’s chart of accounts.

This report has the following uses:

•To aid in reviewing the accuracy and validity in mapping the subsidiary company’s GL Account IDs to the consolidation company’s GL Account IDs

•For reference when updating the mapping of the subsidiary company’s GL Account IDs

To print the Chart of Accounts Mapping Report, follow these steps:

1.Access the Chart of Accounts Mapping Report function from the Listings group in the Reports main menu.

2.Select the report configuration that you want to use by clicking the List box button beside the Configuration field.

3.Click the List box button next to the Sort By field and select one of the following sorting options:

•Account ID

•Consolidated Account ID

4.In the Layout field, click the List box button and select the desired layout for the report.

Note: The report is generated only in Detail type.

5.Mark the applicable checkboxes in the Report Header area if you want to Include Time or Include Printed By information in the report header.

6.In the Report Configuration area, define the desired report filters. You may mark the Individual checkbox if you want to generate the report for a single record and enter the appropriate value in the adjacent field; otherwise, select in the Filters area the desired criteria in generating the report.

Note: The available fields in the Filters area may vary when you select a different sorting option.

7.Choose one of the following options:

oAll Mapped and Unmapped Accounts

Select this option to display all subsidiary GL Account IDs regardless of its mapping to a consolidation company.

oMapped Accounts Only

Select this option to display only the subsidiary GL Account IDs mapped to the consolidation company’s GL Account IDs.

oUnmapped Accounts Only

Select this option to display only the subsidiary GL Account IDs that are not mapped to the consolidation company’s GL Account IDs.

8.Click the Preview or Print button to preview or print the report. Click the Configure tab to return to the report configuration page.

The Chart of Account Mapping Report function also provides you with flexibility to perform the following:

•Set up user-defined sort option

•Set up user-defined report layout

•Include notes in the printed report

•Export the report to various supported file formats

•Send the report as attachment to an email

•Drill-down on certain fields in the report:

oGL Account ID

AccountMate displays the Chart of Accounts Maintenance when you click the GL Account ID in the report.
