The AccountMate Consolidated Ledger (CL) module includes the following features:

oConsolidate Account Balances

Using the Consolidate Account Balances function, you can consolidate GL account balances either immediately or on schedule at a specific date and time or on a recurring basis. This allows you to more effectively manage your business.

oUnlimited Number of Subsidiaries

Consolidated Ledger supports as many subsidiary companies as you want to assign to each consolidation company, limited only by the maximum number of company databases that can be created in AccountMate.

oAccount Mapping Feature

You can automatically map all or a range of GL Account IDs in the subsidiary company to GL Account IDs in the consolidation company or you can map a single consolidation company GL Account ID to multiple GL Account IDs in the subsidiary.

oInternal Checks Help Prevent Consolidation Errors

Consolidated Ledger detects any conflict that affect a consolidation such as GL Account IDs that have not been mapped or missing consolidation exchange rates for multi-currency companies. If a conflict is detected, the operation is aborted giving you the ability to resolve the issue while preventing conflicting data from affecting the consolidation company’s GL account balances.

oSupport Consolidation for Companies with Different Reporting Currencies

This feature makes it possible to consolidate subsidiary companies that are assigned a currency that is different from the consolidation company’s currency. AccountMate uses the user-defined consolidation exchange rates, eliminating the need to manually prepare the consolidated financial statements for multi-national companies.
