Amend or Void Recurring Journal Entry Template

To amend or void a recurring journal entry template, perform the following steps:

 

1.Access the Recurring Entry group in the Transactions menu; then, select the Recurring JE Setup function.

 

2.In the Search field, enter the number of the recurring journal entry template which information and entries you want to amend or void. Alternatively, you can scroll up and down the grid to locate the recurring journal entry template; then, double-click on the recurring journal entry template to select.

 

3.Enter the necessary changes in the appropriate fields. You can amend existing journal entries in the grid as well as add or delete journal entries in the template.

 

4.When you are finished amending recurring journal entry template, click the Save button in the Transactions toolbar to save your changes; otherwise, click the Cancel button to disregard any changes.

 

5.If you want to delete the template, click the Delete button in the Transactions toolbar. In the message window that pops-up, click the Yes button to confirm deletion; otherwise, click No.

Note: You can limit the users who can amend journal entry batches by assigning access rights using the Groups function in the System Administrator module.
