The Work Order Status Report provides information on the manufacturing progress of an inventory item and the status of each work order. This report shows the quantities of an inventory item that are not yet processed, that are in-process, and/or finished.
This report can be used as reference in managing the production resources and prioritizing the completion of work orders.
To print the Work Order Status Report, perform the following steps:
1.Access the Work Order Status Report function from the Work Order group under the Reports main menu in Manufacturing module.
2.Click the List box button beside the Configuration field and select your preferred report configuration.
3.Amend or accept the default sorting option in the Sort By field. To select a different Sort By option, click the List box button and select from the options displayed on the list.
4.In the Layout field, accept or amend the default layout for the report. To select a different Layout option, click the List box button and select from the options displayed on the list.
5.In the Report Configuration area, define the report filters. Depending on the Sort By option you choose, you may mark the Individual checkbox if you want to generate the report for a single record and enter the appropriate value in the adjacent field; otherwise, select in the Filters area the preferred criteria in generating the report.
6.Mark one of the following options to further filter the work order records that you want to include in the report:
oAll Work Orders
Mark this option if you want to generate a report of all work orders, regardless of its status. |
oPending Work Orders Only
Mark this option if you want to generate a report of work orders with Pending status. |
oActive Work Orders Only
Mark this option if you want to generate a report of work orders with Active status. |
oOn-hold Work Orders Only
Mark this option if you want to generate a report of work orders that are put on-hold. |
oCompleted Work Orders Only
Mark this option if you want to generate a report of completed work orders. |
7.Mark the Show Description checkbox if you want to show in the report the master item's description; otherwise, leave it unmarked.
8.Click the Preview or Print button to preview or print the report, respectively. From the Report Preview tab, you may click the Configure tab to return to the report configuration page.
The Work Order Status Report function provides you with flexibility to perform the following:
•Set up user-defined report macro
•Set up user-defined sort option
•Set up user-defined report layout
•Include notes in the printed report
•Export the report to various supported file formats
•Send the report as attachment to an email
•Include time and printed by information
