The Materials Explosion Report provides information on work orders that have been exploded into their jobs and components.
This report has the following uses:
•To determine the components used in each job, as well as the explosion level of each job and its components
•To determine the master item job to which the parent item is assigned, as well as the inventory item quantity, machine resources, and/or labor resources needed to manufacture a master or parent item
To print the Materials Explosion Report, perform the following steps:
1.Access the Materials Explosion Report function from the Work Order group under the Reports main menu in Manufacturing module.
2.Click the List box button beside the Configuration field and select the preferred report configuration.
3.Amend or accept the default sorting option in the Sort By field. To select a different Sort By option, click the List box button and select from the options displayed on the list.
4.In the Layout field, accept or amend the default layout for the report. To select a different Layout option, click the List box button and select from the options displayed on the list.
5.In the Report Configuration area, define the report filters. Depending on the Sort By option you choose, you may mark the Individual checkbox if you want to generate the report for a single record and enter the appropriate value in the adjacent field; otherwise, select in the Filters area the preferred criteria in generating the report.
6.Mark one of the following options to limit the records that you want to include in the report:
oComplete and Incomplete Work Orders
Mark this option if you want to generate a report of all work orders, regardless of whether the jobs are complete. |
oCompleted Work Orders Only
Mark this option if you want to generate a report of completed work orders. |
oIncomplete Work Orders Only
Mark this option if you want to generate a report of incomplete work orders. |
7.Click the Preview or Print button to preview or print the report, respectively. From the Report Preview tab, you may click the Configure tab to return to the report configuration page.
The Materials Explosion Report function provides you with flexibility to perform the following:
•Set up user-defined report macro
•Set up user-defined sort option
•Set up user-defined report layout
•Include notes in the printed report
•Export the report to various supported file formats
•Send the report as attachment to an email
•Include time and printed by information
