The Inventory Transaction Report is a report showing an inventory item analysis that allows you to view in detail inventory item transactions that were posted for each inventory item. You can specify the type of transaction that you want to include in the analysis.
This report is useful for reviewing inventory transaction information per transaction type and as reference in analyzing the effects of transactions to your inventory.
To generate the Inventory Transaction Report, perform the following procedures:
1.Access the Inventory Transaction Report function from the Analysis group under the Reports main menu in the Inventory Control or Accounts Receivable module.
2.Click the List box button next to the Configuration field; then, select the report configuration that you want to use.
3.Select the report sorting option by clicking the List box button next to the Sort By field.
4.In the Layout field, click the List box button to select the report layout you want to use in generating the report.
5.In the Report Configuration area, define the desired report filters. You may mark the Individual checkbox if you want to generate the report for a single item or warehouse; and enter the appropriate value in the adjacent field; otherwise, select in the Filters area the desired criteria in generating the report.
6.Select the transaction types that you want to show in the report:
•Invoice Transactions
•Received Goods Transactions
•Finished Job Transactions (Parent)
•Finished Job Transactions (Component)
•Inventory Adjustments
•Internal Stock Issuances
•Kit Transactions
•Cost Method Changes
•Physical Count Updates
•Standard Cost Update
7.Click the Preview or Print button to preview or print the report. Click the Configure tab to return to the report configuration page.
The Inventory Transaction Report function also provides you with the flexibility to perform the following:
•Set up user-defined report macro
•Set up user-defined sort option
•Set up user-defined report layout
•Include notes in the printed report
•Export the report to various supported file formats
•Send the report as attachment to an email
•Include time and printed by information
•Drill-down on certain fields in the report:
