The Report of Invoices with Unapplied Balances function allows you to print or preview information about all AP invoices for which payments are yet to be applied and that no payment authorization has been made.
This report has the following uses:
•To review and verify the AP invoice unpaid balance
•To facilitate payment authorization and application to AP invoices
To generate the Report of Invoices with Unapplied Balances, follow these steps:
1.Access the Report of Invoices with Unapplied Balances function from the Payment Authorization group under the Reports main menu in the Accounts Payable module.
2.Click the List box button next to the Configuration field; then, select the report configuration that you want to use.
3.Select the report sorting option by clicking on the List box button next to the Sort By field.
4.In the Layout field, click the List box button to select the report layout you want to use in generating the report.
To show multi-currencies in the report, select the option with 'multi-currency' in the layout name. Note that this layout option is only available if the multi-currency feature is activated. |
5.In the Report Configuration area, define the report filters. Depending on the Sort By option you choose, you may mark the Individual checkbox if you want to generate the report for a single record and enter the appropriate value in the adjacent field; otherwise, select in the Filters area the preferred criteria in generating the report.
6.Click the Preview or Print button to preview or print the report. In the Report Preview Page, you may click the Configure tab to return to the Report Configuration Page.
The Report of Invoices with Unapplied Balances function also provides you with flexibility to perform the following:
•Set up user-defined sort option
•Set up user-defined report layout
•Include notes in the printed report
•Export the report to various supported file formats
•Send the report as attachment to an email
•Drill-down on certain fields in the report:
