Edit Report Settings

The Edit Report Settings function allows users to modify the settings in a report. This option is initially available for custom reports. To edit the report settings for a standard report, you must first "customize" the specific report in Report Designer. To do this, point your mouse cursor to the standard report you wish to edit; then, right-click on your mouse. Simply select the Customize option. Notice that the standard report's icon is changed indicating that the standard report is now editable.

 

 

To edit or amend custom report settings, perform the following steps:

 

1.Point the mouse cursor on the report that you wish to edit settings; then, right-click on your mouse. In the drop-down list that appears, select Edit Report Settings option.

 

2.In the Edit Report window, enter or amend the value in the Report Name field.

 

3.Mark or unmark, as necessary, the following checkboxes:

 

Enable Batch Button

Enable Notes Button

Print Notes

Print Criteria

Print Time

Print User

 

4.Click the Finish button to save your changes; otherwise, click Cancel to revert your changes.

Notes:

The Customized Standard Reports can be viewed in their original location under the Reports main menu in the AccountMate Enterprise application window.

To disregard the changes made to a Customized Standard Report, simply right-click on the report; then, select Reset to Default option. Notice that the icon display changes back to its original image.
