Returned Components Report

The Returned Components Report provides information about component items' returned quantities. This report shows work orders whose component items had previously issued quantities that were eventually returned.

 

It also shows the date the items were returned, the work center it was issued to, and the specific manufacturing step the items were supposed to be used.

 

This report has the following uses:

 

To serve as reference in verifying the component items' returned quantities

 

The document can be used in identifying the returned components and locating the work center these were issued to

 

 

To print the Returned Components Report, perform the following steps:

 

1.Access the Returned Components Report function from the Work Order Issuance group under the Reports main menu in Manufacturing module.

 

2.Click the List box button beside the Configuration field and select the preferred report configuration.

 

3.Amend or accept the default sorting option in the Sort By field. To select a different Sort By option, click the List box button and select from the options displayed on the list.

 

4.In the Layout field, accept or amend the default layout for the report. To select a different Layout option, click the List box button and select from the options displayed on the list.

 

5.In the Report Configuration area, define the report filters. Depending on the Sort By option you choose, you may mark the Individual checkbox if you want to generate the report for a single record and enter the appropriate value in the adjacent field; otherwise, select in the Filters area the preferred criteria in generating the report.

 

6.Click the Preview or Print button to preview or print the report, respectively. From the Report Preview tab, you may click the Configure tab to return to the report configuration page.

 

 

The Returned Components Report function provides you with flexibility to perform the following:

 

Set up user-defined report macro

Set up user-defined sort option

Set up user-defined report layout

Include notes in the printed report

Export the report to various supported file formats

Send the report as attachment to an email

Include time and printed by information
